What records can I access? In Walworth County, the index of real estate documents recorded since January of 1973 searchable by grantor/grantee plus most associated document images are available. In addition, a tract index searchable by legal description is available which officially began on 1/3/05.

 

What equipment do I need? For technical requirements, click here.

 

What are the fees to use LandShark? The index information is available at no cost. When you view a document image, the cost is the statutory fee of $2 for the first page plus $1 for each additional page (per document).

 

Will I need to sign an agreement? No. However, you will be required to complete the following documents to set up an escrow account: LandShark Escrow Account form. Upon receipt of the completed documents along with your escrow deposit, an account will be activated.

REMINDER:  If searching by document number, enter a capital letter P in front of the document number for documents recorded prior to February of 1976.  (ex:  P659067).  Be sure to use capital letters and correct spacing when searching by parcel identification numbers.

OUR CREDIT CARD INTEGRATION WITH AUTHORIZE.NET HAS BEEN ENHANCED.  YOU MAY NOTICE SOME SLIGHT CHANGES TO THE CREDIT AUTHORIZATION SCREENS IN LANDSHARK.

Although LandShark works with other systems, Internet Explorer will let you view pages in Documents that have an ID PROTECT on them, where other systems may only show a blank page.
